Program Information

The Information Technology Department at Mott Community College is seeking companies who are willing to accept externs. We define externs as students who are obtaining actual work experience while gaining academic credit. These positions may be for pay or without pay depending on each situation and student needs.

This program has been established to help students gain entry level experience that will help them secure employment once they are complete with their studies. Students are expected to act in a professional manner, be eager to learn new things, and utilize the skills they have learned during their college careers.
